My name is Angie Hiemstra. I graduated from Chadron State College in 1995. I have spent the last 29 years teaching preschool, alternative school, special education, physical education, health education, and 8 to Great. Throughout those years I also coached volleyball for 27 years, track for 9 years, and sponsored many clubs and organizations (National Honor Society, Student Council, A-Club, Key Club, Class, and an EF International Tour).
I am married to Randy Hiemstra and together we have three children: Sydnie (Cody), Madison (Baden), and Mason (Leyton). I am the proud "Gigi" of three boys: Park, Kenzo, and Colt and I love spending as much of my extra time with them as possible! My other interests include Husker Volleyball, watching sports, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. I look forward to teaching at Hyannis Area Schools and meeting all my new colleagues and students!!
