HYANNIS FFA CHAPTER TRAVELS TO INDIANAPOLIS!

On October 31, 2023, the Hyannis FFA officers began their trip to Indianapolis, Indiana for the 96th National FFA Convention. Their first stop was in Hannibal, Missouri where they visited a Mark Twain memorial as well as walking alongside the Mississippi River. On Wednesday, November 2nd, they visited the Opening Session of the convention. The session was held in Lucas Oil Stadium, the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Afterward, the group went to a Brazilian Steakhouse in downtown Indianapolis. On Thursday, the 3rd, they went to tour Purdue University’s Department of Agriculture in West Lafayette, IN. They also went to the West Lafayette Mall where they mini golfed and rode go-karts. Friday morning, the officers attended a leadership conference at the convention center as well as going to the Career Fair and Exposition. Saturday morning, Kaylee Davis received her American FFA Degree, which is a degree only the top 1% of FFA members earn every year. Later that day, they trekked back to the Sandhills.
