The Princess and the Pea Coming to Hyannis
An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of The Princess and the Pea on Monday, September 18th in the Lecture Hall at Hyannis Area Schools from 3:45 to 5:45. Those auditioning should arrive right after school and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the roles to be cast are the Princess, the Pea, King and Queen Size of Riverdom, Storm King and Snow Queen of Glacierdom, the Prince, the mischievous Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom, the Dust Bunnies, some wannabe Princesses not to mention some meddling leprechauns. All students, ages Kindergarten through 8th grade, are encouraged to audition. Advance preparation is optional.
The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, and props. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 3:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day. September 18th through the 22nd.
The Princess and the Pea will be presented on Saturday, September 23rd in the lecture hall at Hyannis Area Schools.
